QUIZ COMPETITION IN DON BOSCO SCHOOL, CHITRADURGA

Don Bosco ICSE school conducted Mega Quiz last month. All enjoyed the quiz. Br Hector Pinto was the Quiz Master and Sr. Jessy and Br Vivek were the scorer and time keeper.

INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL TOUR TO MANGALORE

Students of Infant Jesus High School, Challakere had lovely tour to Mangalore. They saw St Joseph's P.U. College, Bajpe, Nellithirtha, Kateel Temple, Pilikula park, Br Hector's house, Panambur beach, Pabbas Ice cream Parlour, Agumbe and Kuvempus House. Brothers from Bajpe were wonderful hosts. Br Charles, principal of St Joseph's took our students for nature walk in the morning. They enjoyed the nature walk. Mr Varaprasad Shetty, a parent of our students and a great friend of Br Hector sponsored ice cream (Gudbud-from Pabbas)for all the students and staff of our school. Thank you, Mr Varaparasad for your constant support.We really appreciate it!Brothers too sponsored our breakfast and dinner. Thank you, Brothers. Our students and staff were touched by your warm welcome and hospitality.

Volcano model prepared by ICSE students of Don Bosco

This model was prepared by my students of Don Bosco School as part of their seminar last year. They presented their seminar through powerpoint presentation and models. Well Done!

I just want to wish you all the best for your exams. Life is full of challanges and I want you to face them with courage and hope. Life is like a rose plant. Even though rose plant has full of thorns, you never bother about the thorns, rather you think about the beautiful rose that you see in that plant. I just want to tell you that all of you are very special. I came to Don Bosco by accident but all of you became so close to me that you hv become inseparable part of my life. I have learnt so much from you. Thank you for accepting me as your teacher and friend. Thank you.

INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL, CHALLAKERE NEWS

Hello,A little bit of news from INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL!
Our students presented HOOPS DRILL on the independence day programme which was held in Govt school. Every one enjoyed the programme.
Seven old students of mine came to visit our school. They spoke to our class x students. They gave gifts and chocolates to all our high school students. Some of them played football with them.
Our science club and Maths club organised science model competition under the leadership of Br Maurice and Mr Nagendrappa. Our students participated actively in this competition. Parents of our students came to see the exhibition in large number. This was first of its kind in our three years school history.
Our social and English clubs organised Social and English model competition. Sr Soji was in charge of the programme. Students came up with good models.
Our four students participated in district level science exhibition which was held in Chitradurga.
MY GURU AND MODEL, BR C J HARRISON DIED RECENTLY IN GOA. He was my principal in Bajpe. He was an Australian . May he rest in peace.

Don Bosco sports

Dear Friends,

Don Bosco ICSE school, Chitradurga organised Annual Sports Day on 22nd November, 2008. DDPI of Chitradurga and Fr Jose, the rector of Don Bosco were the chief guests. Children particpated in the sports very actively.

Blue house were the overall champions of this year. Congratulations, Blue House. Yellow House came second. Br Hector was the videographer of this programme.
