CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AND AUSTRALIAN STUDENTS VISIT TO BAJPE

St Joseph's P. U. College, Bajpe (High School Section) celebrated their annual day on 23rd of December. Mr Brian Rebello, (ex student) was the guest of honour. The star of attraction were the students of Australia who had visited Bajpe.

College Section had Christmas celebrations in their own classes. Australian students and their staff joined them in the celebrations. They had a great time.

I, too, enjoyed the programme. Congratualtions to all!!

KARNATAKA (ST JOSEPH'S AND MORNING STAR, BAJPE) UNDER 14 TEAM SECURES 3RD POSITION IN NATIONAL LEVEL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to Bajpe volleyball team who secured 3rd position in National Level (Under 14) Volleyball tournament which was held in Birur, Karnataka. Karnataka were the favourite team to win the nationals. Karnataka team lost in the hard fought match in the semi final against Maharashtra (3-2). Karnataka team did not have any problem of beating our neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh for the third position. Karnataka team consisted of 6 Bajpe players who made us very proud by securing 3rd position. Our Bajpe team had won earlier tournaments like Taluq leve, district and State Level. It is a great achievement of Bajpe girls.Congratulation girls! Keep up the good work and try to win the nationals in the next year. Congratulations to the Principals of High School and Primary School as well as their physical teachers who had worked very hard to reach to the top We are proud of you.

They also played a friendly match against the Australian students of Christian Brothers. Guess who won? Ofcourse, our little girls!!!!

SCIENCE AND MATHS EXHIBITION IN INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL, CHALLAKERE

Science and Maths Clubs of Infant Jesus High School, Challakere conducted science and maths exhibition for the students. All the students participated actively under the leadership of Br Maurice and Mr Nagendrappa. Students came up with very good models. Congratulations to all!
